Through the pounding of the blood in her ears Helena can hear Cain taunting Renee: "let me hear it, Faceless... Let me hear your scream."
Caine twists the Spear and it must be torture for her, but Renee doesn't make a sound.
That's my girl,
she thinks fuzzily.
Despite her own pain, Helena laughs.
